Does your car look "hazy" in the sun? Are there swirl marks covering the hood? Most of that "damage" isn't in the paint—it’s in the clear coat. Justify Detailing specializes in machine paint correction, a process that levels the clear coat to eliminate imperfections and reveal a mirror-like shine.
Unlike a standard "buff and wax," paint correction is a multi-stage mechanical process. We use specialized machine polishers, abrasive compounds, and pads to physically remove a microscopic layer of clear coat, permanently deleting scratches rather than just "filling them in" with wax.
Not every scratch can be polished out. Here is how to tell if your paint is a candidate for correction:
Correctable: Light swirls, "spiderwebbing" from car washes, bird dropping etchings, and light holograms. If the scratch is invisible when wet, we can likely fix it.
The Fingernail Method: Run your fingernail gently across the scratch. If your nail "catches" or drops into the groove, the scratch is through the clear coat. These require touch-up paint or professional bodywork, as polishing them further could strike through the paint entirely.
This is a single polishing cycle using a "medium" finishing polish.
The Result: Removes 50%–70% of light swirl marks and dramatically increases gloss.
Best For: Newer vehicles, well-maintained daily drivers, or those on a budget looking for a massive visual upgrade without the cost of a full restoration.
This is a rigorous two-cycle process involving a heavy "cutting" stage followed by a "finishing" stage.
The Result: Removes 85%–95%+ of surface defects, including deep swirls and heavy oxidation.
The Process: 1. Compound Stage: We use a heavy abrasive to "level" the deep scratches. This leaves the paint protected but slightly hazy. 2. Polishing Stage: We use a fine finishing polish to remove the haze and "jewel" the paint to a high-definition, mirror finish.
Best For: Dark-colored vehicles, older cars with heavy neglect, or as a prerequisite for a 5-Year Ceramic Coating.
